Nik Bohnenberger

I am a composer from Luxembourg. I study composition with Elena Mendoza at the UdK Berlin. I also received lessons from Carola Bauckholt, Matthew Shlomowitz, Michael Beil and José María Sánchez Verdú.

As a composer I have already worked with ‘Orchestre Philharmonique du Luxembourg’, ‘Brandenburgisches Staatsorchester Frankfurt-Oder’, ‘The Present Vokalensembel’ and ‘United Instruments of Lucilin’. I have participated in the ‘Luxembourg Composition Academy’ and festivals such as ‘Mehrlicht!Musik’, ‘rainy days’, ‘ne(x)t generation’ and ‘Mixtur’. I am the co-founder of KOLLEKTIV UNRUHE.

My music often consists of wild, rhythmic sound experiments, all of which more or less relate to social issues such as climate change, feminism and the fight against anti-Semitism.
