ABOUT

ABOUT

"LOOK AT YOUR ENVIRONMENT" is the theme of the second concert by the Unruhe collective, newly founded in 2021. The program includes four performances by Berlin composers Saemi Jeong, Dustin Zorn, Beltrán González, and Hatem Hamdy, created for the Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy University Competition.

Founded in 2021, Ensemble Unruhe, a group of young musicians based in Berlin, made its public debut with their concert "Unruhe" in September 2021. Closely associated with Kollektiv Unruhe, a group of composers in Berlin, the young Ensemble Unruhe brings a fresh perspective to the contemporary music scene. The ensemble and Kollektiv Unruhe share a common goal: to create, through their restless energy, a broad platform where the artistic ideas and projects of composers and performers can interact and be explored freely and vibrantly through self-organized concerts, workshops, and projects addressing social issues.
