Lara Alarcón is a vocal artist, composer and curator from La Plata, Argentina based in Berlin & Bern. Her work has a wide projection. She works and performs in vocal art, noise/extreme music as well as contemporary electroacoustic and multimedia music. She can be found in stages across Europe, Latin America and Asia. She is currently active with her project VQ, a platform for expanded solo performance with an outlet that crosses electronic music, vocal art, chorale pop fantasy and harsh noise. She also tours and performs with GORZ, an electronic noise rock, experimental metal and cutecore band.

She performed in venues and festivals such as Novas Frequencas (BR), Musica Estranha (BR), Berliner Festspiele (DE), Dampfzentrale Bern (CH), Ov Off Athens (GRE), Staatstheater Kassel (DE), Bad bonn kilbi (CH), Punctum (CZ), Buenos Aires Noise (ARG), Jogja Noise Bombing (ID), POOL (JP), etc.

She co-founded the label Numeral based between Argentina and Switzerland, in which she curates albums and events in the edgy field of experimental music and promotes latin american artists.
