Ilona Perger is an Austrian composer based in Bern and Berlin. ​​​​​​​​​

​​​​​​​​​​​​​Currently she is studying her Masters degree in Composition Creative Practice with Simon Steen-Andersen and Irene Galindo Quero at Hochschule der Künste in Bern. She is constantly realizing new projects and working with various ensembles, such as the JACK Quartet, Ensemble Spółdzielnia Muzyczna Contemporary Ensemble and Ensemble Resonanz. Her works have also been presented at festivals such as Warschauer Herbst, rainy days, and Blurred Edges.

In addition to her musical work, she has performed as actress with the Danish performance collective SIGNA at the Wiener Festwochen and the Schauspielhaus Hamburg and has worked in various theater contexts, which still makes her reflect on performativity and questions in contemporary music theater, as well on context of concert formats and instrumental music.
